Directions

As of December 14th, 2023, VIMC’s Meditation Hall is located in the back wing of the Centre Congregational Church, 193 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT 05301

Entrance: People should enter by the door in the back of the church building.

Finding VIMC in the Building:  The Meditation Hall is one-half flight up. After climbing the stairs, turn left 3 times. Look for our signs with arrows.

Here’s more detail:  After climbing the one-half flight of stairs, go left passing the toilets, to the end of the hall. Turn left again. Our door is down the next hallway on the left. (3 left turns.)

Parking: The parking lot behind the church is public parking, first come, first served, except for two church-designated spaces. If that lot is full, people can go to the Harris Place parking lot.

COVID Policy Update
(September 2023)

We continue to monitor CDC guidelines and other sources of information. Particularly during seasons when respiratory illness circulates, we ask that you be aware of the health of all.

• We ask that individuals who are not fully vaccinated continue to join us exclusively on Zoom.
• We also ask that individuals who do not feel well join on Zoom only and that those who have recently travelled join on Zoom only for the first 5 days after their return to Vermont.
• The Dharma Hall has 2 air purifiers that clean the air in the room every 15 minutes. The filters in use both HEPA and carbon filtration.
• As of September 25th, the CDC reports that the Covid infection level in Windham County is high. We note that recent articles suggest that masking protects others as well as yourself. We encourage those who may have been exposed to respiratory illness of any kind to use a well-fitting mask.

The Board will continue to monitor the guidelines and the COVID-19 levels in Vermont, and will make changes as needed.
