Cheryl Wilfong, VIMC co-founder and member of the teacher’s council, has been teaching meditation since 2007.

Cheryl is also a devoted gardener and the author of The Meditative Gardener: Cultivating Mindfulness of Body, Feelings, and Mind, winner of 9 book awards. She is also the author of Following the Nez Perce Trail: a Guide to the Nee-Me-Poo National Historic Trail with Eye-Witness Accounts. Her most recent book, Mindfulness Meets Breast Cancer was the 2019 Independent Publishers of New England Book of the Year.
