Vermont Insight Meditation Center (VIMC) is a small Buddhist community center dedicated to the study and practice of Insight Meditation (Vipassana) and committed to the possibility of liberation for all beings.
We are a non-residential center that welcomes diverse populations. Vermont Insight Meditation Center supports and encourages the development of compassionate action towards community, based upon the ideals, teachings, and practices in the tradition of Theravada Buddhism. All are welcome.

Our Location

All in-person meditation sittings will be held at our location on the second floor of 28 Vernon St, Brattleboro.
Please arrive early as the outside door is locked and our volunteer greeters will begin their meditations at the sitting’s start time. For more information about visiting Vermont Insight, click here»
